The Fargo-based startup formerly known as Aerobotic Innovations is changing their name to Botlink.

Botlink was originally just the name of the application they are building, which is a cloud-connected platform that allows you to operate drones safely. The company decided that, moving forward, it makes more sense to unify their company name with their product.

“We’re making the change from Aerobotic to Botlink because we are focusing full time on the platform and want our company marketing to reflect that,” said Joel Marchand, creative director and graphic designer for Botlink.

BotlinkIn the two weeks since Botlink CEO Shawn Muehler presented at 1 Million Cups, the small seven-man startup has been getting a lot of attention. We shared their story here on our blog, they received a huge amount of attention at 1 Million Cups, and they were recently covered in an article by the Fargo Forum.

The Botlink app is slotted to be released in the upcoming weeks for Android. Learn more about this app’s awesome features here.
