Meet Russel
Russel Schell, President of RJ Energy Solutions, attended US Air Force Technical Training. Russell founded RJ Energy Solutions when he was deciding between continuing in the corporate world or starting something new. Russel’s favorite part about going to work every day is waking up with an idea and then putting it to work! Even though it takes a lot of time, energy, and money to implement a new business idea, Russel is extremely proud of the amount of high level solutions they have solved. When Russel isn’t working, he enjoys spending time at the lake with a cold beverage.
About RJ Energy Solutions
RJ Energy Solutions was founded by Russel Schell about six years ago. Russel explains that RJ Energy Solutions “help our customers live in a healthier environment and prevent expensive breakdowns and reduce energy costs.” RJ Energy Solutions is full of benefits for many customers but Russel expands by saying, “We provide better comfort and energy savings consulting service for Maryvale convent in Valley City, Universities across the state, Bobcat in Gwinner, KFCs and many other commercial and residential customers.” It is RJ Energy Solutions’ mission to help customers live in a healthier environment and preventing costly breakdowns and energy costs.
RJ Energy Solutions was brought about when Russel made a cold call to Maryvale Convent in Valley City, North Dakota. Russel said, “It started out at $150.00 and then it went to $500,000. In this project, we control the system based on CO2 levels (breath perspirations), monitor sewage pumps and garage doors being opened and forgetting to be closed.”
Event Details
Russel plans to talk about the different business offerings that RJ Energy Solutions has done over the last six years like residential energy savings consulting, IR/drone energy assessments, Water Hero leak detection valve, and HVAC services. Russel thinks it’s important to speak at events like 1 Million Cups because it helps entrepreneurs learn of other resources that could be of help to them.
