In light of the upcoming 1 Million Cups, which will feature David Baeza from Vine Rangers and 1 Million Cups co-founder Nate Olson, we have decided to announce a bring-your-drone-to-work day. At this Wednesday morning gathering, we want all you drone-owners out there to bring your drones with you (looking at you, Botlink!). We will also ask you to introduce us to your drone.

That’s right, 1 Million Cups wants a formal introduction to the drones of Fargo.

The drone from Botlink.

Vine Rangers, based in the wine country of Santa Ynez Valley, CA, was started by Baeza in April 2014 after hearing countless stories from vineyard farmers struggling to fix crop issues. His solution was to use drones as a way to observe their wine vineyards, creating a more efficient way for farmers to monitor their land. This work is just another example of how drones are revolutionizing many different industries.

Cremalab was founded in 2009 by designer, artist and entrepreneur George Brooks. It’s now a team of creativists who design websites and other digital products for a variety of customers; including Startup Weekend, Big Kansas City 2013, Neighbor.ly, Live Blue, and Endurance Lending Network.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind 1 Million Cups, on January 14, 2015, 9:15 am at the Stage at Island Park. Oh, and don’t forget your mug – or your drone!

Let us know you’re coming, here.
