Jolitz Cohort Client Project Presentations
August 1 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join us in-person and on our Facebook live stream to see a demonstration of the client project our learners in the Jolitz cohort have completed.
WHAT ARE CLIENT PRESENTATIONS?
In the final weeks of the program, our cohorts team up with local organizations to work for and create an application that solves a problem or pain point. They have just a few weeks to pull together a functional project for their client, which simulates on-the-job training and prepares them for an entry-level position.
WHO IS JOLITZ WORKING WITH?
The Jolitz cohort is partnering two different organizations to create two different web applications from scratch:
– Entrepreneurship Network: This project is a collaboration between Dr. Onnolee Nordstrom’s team based on research done on the FM area support network for entrepreneurs. The project involves mapping out the service providers, events, and support systems in place so that folks can use a guided approach to finding the correct local resources they need in a timely and accurate manner.
– Dwel Home Maintenance: This project is a prototype for a system that can help folks manage the routine and non-route maintenance in their homes. The use case is for all home owners, but especially folks who would benefit from a more guided and hands-on approach to all of the ongoing tasks needed to stay on top of home maintenance.
WHERE IS THE EVENT?
We will be at the Prairie Den Coworking + Events space located in the Black Building on the Skyway level – 118 Broadway N Suite M206, Fargo, ND 58102.
