StartupBREW Fargo: TEDxFargo Takeover Day

StartupBREW Fargo is a weekly networking event in Fargo on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM. Join us on July 23rd for our TEDxFargo Takeover Day at Brewhalla out on the patio! We will be joined by Mei Lin Ng, co-founder and CEO of Hearth and Nipun Mehta, founder of ServiceSpace.

Hearth is a technology company founded by moms who saw firsthand how family management often falls to one person. Designed to promote shared responsibility, Hearth empowers families with simple tools like the Hearth Display, a centralized touchscreen to help organize daily life, build autonomy, and create a more balanced, fulfilling home.

ServiceSpace is a global ecosystem of volunteers, projects, and values-driven technologies devoted to cultivating a culture of inner transformation and selfless service. Founded by Nipun Mehta, it operates at the intersection of technology, generosity, and grassroots community-building—amplifying small acts of kindness into collective impact. With initiatives spanning from pay-it-forward restaurants to digital platforms for gratitude and reflection, ServiceSpace invites individuals to reconnect with themselves, others, and systems through the power of compassion and shared purpose.

This event is built on the notion that entrepreneurs do better when they have access to each other and the greater community that supports them. Entrepreneurship is energized over brews – coffee, tea, beer or others. Connection over coffee has been at the center of energizing our community, which is where the name StartupBREW came from.

At the core, this event will place an emphasis on connection in the program by limiting individual speaking time and increasing conversation. This is practiced through Coffee Club, a time to connect before the event, as well as a 20-minute Q+A session with the audience towards the end of the program.
