StartupBREW Fargo: North Dakota Skateboarding Association + MM Longboards

StartupBREW Fargo is a weekly networking event in Fargo held at Broadway Square on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM. Join us on August 20th to hear from Tom Kemmer, founder of North Dakota Skateboarding Association and Matt Malusky, founder of MMLongboards.

North Dakota Skateboarding Association builds communities around skateboarding by promoting physical fitness and mental health. They provide facilities, safety equipment, and opportunities for skateboarders to develop skills, connect with others, and make friends.

MMLongboards is a rider-focused longboard company that combines high-performance engineering with artistic design to create custom decks. The brand emphasizes sustainability and responsible manufacturing while fostering a local community of riders in the Fargo-Moorhead and Grand Forks areas.

At the core, this event will place an emphasis on connection in the program by limiting individual speaking time and increasing conversation. This is practiced through Coffee Club, a time to connect before the event, as well as a 20-minute Q+A session with the audience towards the end of the program.
