StartupBREW Fargo: Tic Stack Toe + LongWater
Join us for StartupBREW Fargo on Wednesday, June 24 at Broadway Square featuring Ron Bergan, founder of Tic Stack Toe, and Brooks Burgum, cofounder of LongWater.
StartupBREW is a weekly gathering built around the idea that entrepreneurs do better when they have access to each other and the greater community that supports them. Through coffee, conversation, and connection, StartupBREW brings together founders, creatives, professionals, and community members from across the region.
This week’s event will feature a conversation with Ron Bergan as he shares more about building Tic Stack Toe, a modern twist on tic-tac-toe that combines strategy, stacking, and portability into a game designed for all ages. After years as an inventor and entrepreneur in the Fargo-Moorhead community, Ron used 3D printing technology to bring the product to life and launch it into local retail stores across the region. Attendees will hear more about his entrepreneurial journey, lessons learned through building products and businesses, and why creativity and innovation don’t have an age limit.
Brooks Burgum co-founded LongWater in 2009 alongside Jordan Bastable, and together they have built the firm into a premier lower middle market private markets investor with offices in Fargo, Dallas, and St. Louis. At LongWater, Brooks leads capital formation, governance, strategic direction, and performance enhancement across the firm’s growing suite of investment strategies.
