Today, Bismarck-based startup Coschedule presented at Google Demo Day 2015 in Mountain View, CA as one of 12 startups competing for hefty investments from Silicon Valley venture capitalists.

Fellow Coschedule fans and employees crowded into the conference room at CoCo Fargo with tacos and burritos to watch the live stream and cheer them on.

The Game-changer award, voted through people’s choice, went to LevelEleven, a sales performance optimization platform based out of Detroit. The Judge’s Award went to Mati, a tea-based energy drink.

In addition, Steve Case pledged 100K to each of the four woman-led startups that pitched at the event.

Among the ideas presented was a product that charges your phone through a motion sensor in your shoe, a channel manager for tours and activities, and an energy-saving device that allows one to control their own office temperature – just to name a few.

Although Coschedule didn’t take home a trophy, they still pitched their product – an editorial calendar for WordPress – to an audience filled with some of the most prominent venture capitalists in the world. The pitches are over, but now the networking begins.

“The game’s not over yet,” said the fellow Coschedule employees and fans.

Major props to all the presenters who pitched at the Googleplex today.
