Tell us a little bit about you!

I grew up in Albany, Minnesota, and am a big Minnesota sports fan. I live in Moorhead with my fiancée, Karissa, and my dog, Daisy. I moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area after college to live with my mother who grew up in Moorhead.

What college did you attend? What was your major?

Augsburg College in Minneapolis majoring in Mass Communications/Journalism and Political Science.

What’s one activity that energizes you?

Watching or playing wrestling with my nephew, Oliver.

If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?

I’d trace my roots in Norway. My Great-Grandfather Magnus emigrated from there.

Do you have a favorite book or movie?

Movie: Mystery Men. Book: Batman: The Court of Owls.

What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?

I like that the area is very blue-collar and has a small-town atmosphere within a metro area. My hidden is the arcade bar Pixled. You can play every game imaginable from the 1980s and 1990s.

Tell us one random fact about yourself!

I’ve seen “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert eight times.

Why are you excited to work for Emerging Prairie?

I come from a farming family. Although I didn’t grow up on a farm, I’m excited to use my skills to help producers and communities that depend on agriculture to thrive.
