Dear Community,

Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Emerging Prairie, the Prairie Den and the Emerging Digital Academy are taking precautions in order to halt the spread of the virus in our community. Our offices will be closed starting March 17th through the foreseeable future and employees will be working from home during this time.

If you begin showing symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and have been present in the Prairie Den or attended an Emerging Prairie event in the past two weeks, begin the self-quarantine process and please email us at

To find the most updated information – keep checking our website to learn about our office hours and the status of our upcoming events and programming as they unfold. As a community organization, our livelihood revolves around connections and experiences; however, our top priority remains the health and well-being of the members of this community. This is a very dynamic situation, so please know that any changes we have made, or will be making, are purposeful and intended to help us all navigate the future, together.

Staying informed about the impact of the coronavirus around the world is vital to ensuring your safety and the well-being of  our community. In addition to the local public health officials and local authorities, be sure to follow the: World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), which include up-to-date guidance for gathering safely.

If you have any questions or concerns about these guidelines, please email about Emerging Prairie, about the Prairie Den, or about the Emerging Digital Academy.
