Sean Higgins, CEO of BetterYou, will be highlighting where the future of health is going at virtual 1 Million Cups on May 27 from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

About Sean

Sean Higgins, CEO of BetterYou, graduated from University of St. Thomas in 2012 and received his MBA in 2014. He actually learned how to play piano a few months ago! Sean really enjoys his job because “If you ask someone what’s most valuable in their life, time almost always is in the top three. We’re building a way to give people the time to do the things that matter the most.”

About BetterYou

BetterYou, founded by Sean Higgins and Edwin Melendez in October of 2018, helps people make better health and wellness decisions each and every day. BetterYou was brought about because after Sean exited his first company, he realized he was going back to the old habits of using his phone a ton and it made him start thinking about using time intentionally. Sean explains, “BetterYou is the digital health coach helping users make better use of their discretionary time every day. At BetterYou, we’re passionate about helping people to create better habits in important parts of their lives, like keeping up with friends and family, hitting physical and educational goals, as well as taking time for mindfulness check-ins and overall mental health attention.”

Sean expands, “BetterYou helps students in higher education, and employees at corporations make better health and wellness decisions every day. Users set goals in various categories such as physical goals like hitting the gym an extra hour a week, social goals like keeping up with friends and family, mindfulness goals like practicing yoga or meditation and sleep goals like hitting that 8-hour mark routinely. BetterYou then logs how you spend your time toward your health goals in the background without requiring manual entry or wearables. We then deliver our customized nudges any time you’re at risk of falling off track.”

Event Details

Sean Higgins will be talking about creating more collisions between people looking to improve the health systems we operate in today at virtual 1 Million Cups on May 27! Sean thinks it’s important to speak at events like 1 Million Cups because it’s a great place to share the work that everyone is doing.

To keep up with BetterYou and what they’re doing you can follow them on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Even though 1 Million Cups is virtual for the time being it will still take place from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
