trevor-gruby copyAfter eleven years of building Intelligent InSites, former Chief Technology Officer and co-founder Trevor Gruby has moved on to a position as senior manager of software development engineering at Amazon.

A Bismarck native, Gruby began building what is now Intelligent InSites with his father Raymond Gruby as Gruby Technologies in 2004. They created the healthcare intelligence platform now used today in hospitals around the country, with enough success to grow their company and expand throughout downtown Fargo.

The decision to move on was not easy.

Those who know Trevor well will surely understand how incredibly hard a decision this was for him,” said InSites CEO Shane Waslaski.

Accoring to Waslaski, Gruby felt he could move on now seeing the increasing stability of Intelligent InSites as a company. Perhaps too was the fact that a job as senior manager with Amazon seems like a pretty sweet gig.

As he moves on, Gruby said he can look back at the journey of building InSites with pride.

“I am so very proud of the story we have built together, and of the hard work, dedication, and focus to the vision over the years that every team member at InSites has made,” he said. “Thank you for making it a great adventure.”

InSites has not yet announced who or if someone will take over as Chief Technology Officer.

Best wishes to Trevor Gruby at his new endeavor!
