Lydia SUDS Captain 2Q: Do you have a nickname? If so, what is it?

A: Sometimes people call me Lyds.

Q: Any awkward tattoos? Please describe in detail.

A: I’ve never had any tattoos outside of the temporary kind.

Q: If you could describe your startup as an animal what animal would it be?

A: Outside The Grid would probably be a chameleon because we adapt well to challenges and are very colorful people.

Q: What is one of the most influential books you’ve ever read? Leaves of Grass

A: The most influential book I’ve ever read is probably Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman because it inspired a lot of my life decisions and taught me to love reading and literature.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

A: I would go to Iceland. I have always been fascinated by their contemporary culture and politics as well as their unique land formations.

Q: What is one the coolest places you’ve traveled?

A: I lived in Rome, Italy, for a semester and my favorite place that I visited while I was in Europe was probably the island of Capri outside of Sorrento in Italy. The water was so blue it looked like it was artificially colored. In America, my favorite place I’ve visited in terms of natural beauty is probably Asheville, North Carolina. I went hiking in the mountains when the autumn leaves had just changed and it was breathtaking.
