Real Estate is uniquely intertwined in everyone’s life, especially entrepreneurs.

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know? With the exception of about 5 instances, I haven’t matched my socks since 2007.

Mike Dragosavich

Name: Mike Dragosavich

Organization:  Spotlight Media

Do you have any nicknames? If so, share ’em with us: Drago, (Not many people know this, but everyone called my Larry in high school)

Something people should ask me about:  How did you start your business.

You’re a transplant to Fargo – what has made you stay?  The people of Fargo and the people of NDSU.  When a challenge for me is trying to manage the amount of events I attend, I think it could be worse!

What made you decide to start Fargo Inc! Magazine?  Passionate about helping businesses grow, enlightening people to take a chance on entrepreneurship, and shining a light on how fun business can be.  I love that the content of the magazine helps other business but also helps me as a business person.

What’s a lesson that you learned on the football field that you apply to your work life?  Many lessons.  Mainly my work ethic.  In football the harder and smarter you train and put yourself in a position to learn the better you will be.  Specifically, I convinced Coach Bohl to buy golf video software to educate golfers of their swing patterns to find ways to improve.  This gave me an edge on other punters in my division. In business I’m constantly looking for ways like that to learn faster and get ahead.  In many ways I run my business like a football program.

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?  I performed an impromptu comical dance performance dressed as a janitor in front of 5,000 fans at an NDSU Basketball game half-time show in 2005.  When I was on the New England Patriots, the PR rep made me pull down the video from YouTube because I was getting more media requests than Tom Brady.

Come and hang with these people and many other cool folk on March 10, 2016 at the Prairie Den. Join us from 5:30 to 7:30. It’s free! Tell us you’re coming here.
