About IC Outdoors

IC Outdoors is an illuminated spearfishing decoy and fishing lure company created to help fisherman. Tell us about your company and your mission.

“Our business is about making illuminated spearfishing decoys and fishing lures. We currently offer one (1) product which is an illuminated spearfishing decoy, so our target audience is spearfisherman. Spearfishing is only in certain regions of the USA and some provinces in Canada. The climate has to be cold enough for ice to form on lakes to be able to dark house spear. Our mission is to provide all outdoor enthusiasts with the most cutting-edge products that big name manufacturers can’t deliver. We want to push the outdoor experience further than ever done before. Allowing customers to have the outdoor experience of a lifetime. Every time. There have been many glowing lures in the past but only a few have been from an electrical circuit and LED’s. How we differentiate from our competitors is that we found the best methods for illuminating, controlling, and logging information with a fishing lure. We are currently patent pending on these independent claims and plan to use them as a road map for our products and company.”

What are some wins you are celebrating?

“Innovate ND Phase 4 Participant, Featured on Brewer-Agre Outdoors Podcast, Patent Pending, Launching New Product in Spring 2024 – Illuminated Crankbait and Selling Product Across 7 States”

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your entrepreneurial journey?

“The most important lesson I have learned from my entrepreneurial journey is to surround yourself with people who are self-motivated, logical minded, and that you enjoy being around. There have been many decisions I’ve encountered that would be difficult for a single person to make the right choice. IC Outdoors would not be where it is at today if we didn’t have the owners that we do. We each bring a different perspective to the table which helps finding the best option for all different types of decisions.”

IC Outdoors is officially a part of the Fargo-Moorhead founder family. How can our community support you in your next stage of growth?

“We’re extremely honored to be a part of the StartupBREW family! We think that showing support and sharing contacts would be the most beneficial for a community like this. Go follow, like, or share our social media to help us get our name and mission out to others who may not see our products. If you know someone who may be able to support us with any part of our business venture such as product development, testing, distribution, social media, or anything else then get us in contact. We would love the opportunity to work with others who want to see our mission accelerated.”
