After four years of dedicated service, Byron Snider has completed his term on the Emerging Prairie Board. We are deeply grateful for the insight, leadership, and passion he brought to our mission throughout his tenure.

Byron joined the board in 2021 and served as Chair from 2022 to 2024. His steady leadership helped shape the direction and growth of Emerging Prairie during a pivotal period. His contributions extended far beyond board meetings – he was a thoughtful advisor, a strategic thinker, and a consistent advocate for our work and our community.

In addition to his board leadership, Byron also served as Chair of the Emerging Digital Academy Advisory Board. He played a key role in strengthening the EDA ecosystem by helping foster meaningful connections between the program and local businesses. Through his leadership at Scheels, Byron actively supported EDA alumni – offering guidance, opening doors, and championing the next generation of technology leaders.

 

Byron’s impact reached beyond our organization. He represented Emerging Prairie and Emerging Digital Academy at critical moments for our region, including during the announcement of the FMWF Chamber’s Good Jobs Challenge Grant award, lending his voice and credibility to causes that matter deeply to our community.

We are profoundly thankful for Byron’s belief in our mission and for the lasting impact he’s made. While his board service has concluded, his influence will continue to be felt in the people, programs, and partnerships he helped advance.
