There’s a mantra heard often around Emerging Prairie’s offices. It’s something our co-founder, Greg Tehven likes to say:

“If a tree is planted and the community doesn’t want it, they will let it die. But if it adds value, the community will water the tree.”

The Prairie Den, a new coworking project in downtown Fargo, is like that tree. It’s like a really cool tree that will add huge value to the community, if it is able to flourish and grow. Here at Emerging Prairie, the team is working hard to build The Prairie Den. We envision it as a thriving hub of downtown Fargo, a beautiful space to host events, and a community where we can collaborate on ideas.

We need your help

A preview of The Prairie Den at Startup Drinks on June 16.

We need you to help water that tree. Together, we voted for the name, and together we previewed the vacant space at Startup Drinks in early June. Now, we’re asking you to join us as a community co-founder of The Prairie Den.

A few days ago we launched a crowdfunding campaign through TeeSpring. By giving $50 to The Prairie Den, you are helping us turn this vacant space into a vibrant community for collaboration.

As a token of our thanks, we’ve created a high-quality co-founder tee, emblazoned with the Prairie Den logo designed by Bri Lee that will be shipped directly to you. You will also be granted a free day of coworking at The Prairie Den. The opportunity lasts until July 8.

We believe that The Prairie Den can become something amazing in this community. Thanks for believing, and joining us on the journey.
