We capped off six straight weeks of 1 Million Cups Fargo in style with yet another young entrepreneurial enterprise.  This time around, the startup on stage was AdShark Marketing. The setting of the Plains Art Museum has proven a great venue for these weekly startup discussions, and last week was no different. Many Fargo community members came out to support entrepreneurship and connections through this weekly coffee-filled event.

During our time on Wednesday morning, AdShark co-founder Rick Berg discussed the strategies and methods used to create the firm which is now over seven months old and continuing to grow at a rapid pace. The AdShark team identifies its core strength as its sole focus on internet marketing. While larger, national firms may diversify their marketing tools, AdShark eats, breathes, and sleeps search engine optimization and paid search tactics. As the first certified Google Partner in the North Dakota region, AdShark continues to expand rapidly on a monthly basis.

Rick and his counterparts are assisting companies throughout the region in helping them to gain access to more customers through the power of internet marketing. During this process, they have enjoyed becoming a part of the Fargo community which has supported their efforts through sheer entrepreneurial spirit. We’re looking forward to hearing more from this flourishing firm in the near future.

Our trial period may have ended, but due to the response – and the many cups of coffee had – 1 Million Cups Fargo will continue this week on Wednesday, March 5, at 9:00am in the Plains Art Museum.
