Emerging Prairie and Myriad Mobile are bringing you this month’s Mobile Tech Meetup, this time featuring two guest speakers and a discussion pertaining to the Internet of Things. Join Ryan Hatfield and Sri Kadimisetty, among others, for this conversation on Wednesday evening at 5:30 PM.

What is the Internet of Things? Here’s a snapshot of the duo’s thoughts for the night:

We are heading into a world where Internet capable devices with embedded sensors and tiny computers are poised to flood new problem solving markets. The Internet of things brings order and relevancy to this complicated connected mesh of devices. In this talk we bring clarity to this seemingly vague concept and explore examples of a subset of these “things” that bring immediate benefit to everyday life. We will also look at leveraging some platforms that boosts their usefulness.

The meetup is sure to be an entertaining one, and post-meetup drinks may be in order depending on participant interest.
