Tell us a little bit about you!
“I’m originally from Fargo, ND, and the oldest of three girls. My background is in music education, and after college, my husband and I moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for a few years—a fun and memorable chapter of our lives. Eventually, we made our way back to Fargo to be closer to family and put down roots.
I spent time teaching music and later began working for my mom’s small business, which sparked a passion for entrepreneurship and creative work. These days, I split my time between raising our little boy, co-running Little Notes Music with my husband, and supporting community-focused projects that make a positive impact. In my free time, I love traveling, going to concerts, spending time with family, organizing fun activities, and squeezing in a good Orangetheory workout whenever I can.”
What college did you attend? What was your major?
“The University of North Dakota, Bachelors in Music Education.”
What’s one activity that energizes you?
“A good Orangetheory workout always leaves me feeling energized – physically and mentally. It’s one of the few things I do just for me, and I always walk out feeling stronger and more clear-headed.”

If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
“I’d spend it in Europe with my family—exploring, relaxing, and just soaking up time together without a schedule.”
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
“I love to read and shop at local bookstores, but I can’t say I have a favorite. My favorite movie is “Fever Pitch” (My family are big Red Sox fans).”
Tell us one random fact about yourself!
“I marched in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in high school.”
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
“I love the community here. My favorite hidden gem is Frank’s Lounge in South Fargo.”
Why are you excited to work for Emerging Prairie?
“I’m excited to work for Emerging Prairie because I love being part of something that builds community and creates meaningful impact. It’s energizing to work alongside people who are passionate about big ideas, and making Fargo a place where people feel connected and supported.”
