Tell us a little bit about you!

I grew up on a farm in Tower City, ND. I’ve lived in Bismarck, Fargo, the Twin Cities, Detroit Lakes, and now am happy to be back in Fargo! I have one grown daughter and a bonus daughter and four granddaughters.  I love listening to live music, visiting wineries and breweries, traveling, and training our Border Terrier, Festus, to “talk” using language buttons.

What college did/do you attend? What was/is your major?

MSUM – Legal Assistant

What’s one activity that energizes you?

Being near, on, or in water. Whether it’s the lake or the ocean, water restores me.

If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?

Croatia- my husband and I would love to explore his ancestry and then visit our way through Europe exploring mine.

Do you have a favorite book or movie?

Out of Africa – I love the combination of the music, cinematography, history, love story, and interesting characters all rolled into one.

What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?

It’s wonderful to be closer to friends and family who live in the Fargo area. It’s exciting to visit so many new places that have popped up in the last several years and to show my husband some of my favorite spots. My favorite hidden gem is Cracked Pepper! My high school friend’s sister owns it. The food takes me back to my old stomping grounds; and, she caters!!

Tell us one random fact about yourself!

I met my husband on an online dating application.  Never say never.
