Just as the entirety of Fargo’s entrepreneurship community is developing, so is the Emerging Prairie team. We’re welcoming Maneesh Apte and Mark Staples, two new team members who will be working with us over the summer, to continue our current trajectory. Below is a little bit about these two individuals – if you are at all involved with this fantastic community, you will be seeing a lot of Maneesh and Mark in the upcoming months.

Maneesh is a freshman at Stanford University studying computer science. He is looking forward to working with Emerging Prairie this summer in order to build and learn with the people who are making Fargo “an entrepreneurial powerhouse.” Born and raised in Fargo, Maneesh has shown great passion for startups and entrepreneurship in general: “Fargo is ripe for a huge entrepreneurship take-off and I am excited to help facilitate these great things that have taken hold in our community.”

An alumnus of West Fargo High School, Mark is currently a rising sophomore at Harvard University. After finishing up his undergraduate work, Mark intends to come back to Fargo and join the business community. He is excited to spend the summer working for an organization that is so closely involved with startups and entrepreneurs: “Right now, Fargo is in a very unique spot, and it could see exponential growth or it could stagnate in place. I’m proud to be a part of the team that is working to send it in the right direction.”

Emerging Prairie is stoked for the energy that Maneesh and Mark will bring to the team this summer. Their work will assist in the development of Emerging Prairie, as well as the Fargo entrepreneurship community as a whole.
