About Thaddeus Medical

Thaddeus Medical, founded by Steve Scully in 2014 and officially changed the name to Thaddeus Medical Systems, Inc in 2015. Steve explains, “Thaddeus Medical is really about solving a big problem in the medical cold supply chain – at the local, national, and world level- so that quality is improved for clinical specimens and therapeutics.  If these items spoil or lose their integrity it can cause the patient harm by having a misdiagnosis from a blood sample that has degraded proteins or inaccurately reflects what is happening in the patient, as well as in the other setting of having an adverse reaction to a drug or therapeutic that has spoiled.”

Thaddeus Medical is starting off as a B2B company and are focusing on helping hospitals and pharmacies improve their operations. Steve came up with the idea of Thaddeus Medical when he saw the issue of temperature control and tracking in the hospital setting and how it felt like an unsolvable, lost cause. Steve expands, “The mission of Thaddeus Medical is to protect temperature sensitive healthcare products by making innovating products that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.”
