Emerging Prairie is pleased to announce that OpenCoffee has hit the Fargo-Moorhead area!  OpenCoffee is a worldwide phenomenon that involves semi-regular, open meetings for “people who love startups to hang out and meet.”  The first OpenCoffee meeting for Fargo-Moorhead will be this coming Tuesday, April 30th from 8 AM to 10 AM at Atomic Coffee in Downtown Fargo.  OpenCoffee meetings are open to anyone interested in startups and have no agenda or formal structure.  Many participants simply come to work on their projects in the company of others.  Occasionally, we will have special guests from the business, investment, and legal communities who will be open for discussion, questions, or just to hangout with other startup aficionados in the area.

We hope you will stop by and say hello.  We’ll have some signs on the tables where we are congregating.  Participants should feel free to arrive at any time in the morning.  If you are planning to attend, please sign-up so we know how many participants we’ll have.

Please also note that OpenCoffee events are freely hosted at local merchants so that we can support them by buying food and beverage in exchange for providing a great venue for our meetings.
