Tell us about your company and your mission.

“Gruvy Education services K-12 school districts. It is a service-based business. We train school staff on utilizing AI for more efficiency and preparing students for a future with AI tools that are better than what we see today. This change makes learning more up-to-date and applicable for students, meeting today’s needs in a clear and practical way. Teachers walk away from our training ready to use AI for efficiency in their everyday lives. They also leave with the ability to use it to bring education up to the 21st century.”

What are some wins you are celebrating?

“April 6th, 2024 marks a year since Gruvy Education kicked off. It began with one-hour talks at a handful of Midwest schools. Quickly, it expanded to offering comprehensive AI training for 70+ schools nationwide.

Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to speak in front of thousands of people. This includes presentations at school districts across the country and at conferences such as the Innovative School Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the TCEA conference in Austin, Texas.”

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your entrepreneurial journey?

“Being a young entrepreneur, the biggest thing I’ve learned is that you need to build the evidence of who you aim to become. You will never feel like “now is the perfect time to start.” You have to start building the evidence anyway by taking massive action. Through this process, you’ll face failures and learn from them until you’ve learned enough for things to start working. And you’ll be the only one who truly understands why it started to work because you were the one who woke up every day and built the proof, making it unreasonable for you not to succeed with all the lessons you’ve learned along the way.”

Gruvy Education is officially a part of the Fargo-Moorhead founder family. How can our community support you in your next stage of growth?

“It is great to be a part of the StartupBREW family! As a young entrepreneur, I’m always up for conversations about business. If you’re an entrepreneur, I’d love to connect and learn from each other.

I’m in the process of making my first hire. If you know anyone in the education space who is big into AI, feel free to share that name with me. You can always contact me through my website: gruvyeducation.com.”

What are you grateful for today?

“I’m grateful for the chance to live in a time where there’s so much we can learn online and from communities such as StartupBREW. We’re spoiled with free business education right at our fingertips, 24/7. Whether it’s tuning into podcasts featuring successful business owners or creators like Alex Hormozi, we all have the opportunity to absorb and put into practice the strategies they share that have worked for them.”
