About Shawn Riley
Shawn, a lifelong technologist and entrepreneur, founded his first company at the age of 16 and he has been a thorough leader at companies like IBM and the Mayo Clinic. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded significant change and transformation initiatives in multi-billion-dollar organizations, holding positions such as CEO, CIO, CTO, and Information Management Officer. In 2017, Governor Doug Burgum appointed Shawn as North Dakota’s Chief Information Officer and a cabinet member. Currently, Shawn is the co-CEO of Bisblox, a Venture Studio that builds companies worldwide with a mission to be bold, disrupt the ordinary, and foster growth, driven by the question, “How might we help others succeed?”
