About OmniByte Technology

OmniByte Technology was founded in 2015 by Ray Berry and Brian Gietzen. Brian Gietzen is the CTO of OmniByte Technology. In 2015, Ray knew he needed to reconsider his path and he knew his next chapter would involve a great company with the newest technology and great people. Ray explains, “Brian Gietzen was the first person I contacted about the idea to start something knew and for us to do it the way we wanted to.” Ray said, OmniByte Technology “solves the hard problems of field service organizations through the delivery services and technology solutions. One of these problems involve the gathering, delivery and integration of data collected in the field by personnel to an organization’s often disparate business solutions they use to operate. ERP, FSM, HRIS, CRM, POS, etc. Making this data available and integrated real-time in day to day decision making allows organizations to reduce costs of operations, increase efficiencies and for purpose of billing transactions; reduce the time between work delivered to their client and payments received. We believe the success of our mobile is because we designed it for and with technicians (end user) first, increasing the probability of quick adoption and use by field personnel while still achieving all the benefits of integration to the back-office solutions.” OmniByte Technology is an expert in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, and safety and energy. Their mission is to “improve the work lives and safety of field service personnel through technology.”

Event Details

Ray Berry will be sharing their FormsPro solution and how it’s made a national and global impact at 1 Million Cups Fargo on May 13th. 1 Million Cups has a special place in Ray’s entrepreneurial journey. Ray explains, “I am a very regular attendee and have been on stage before. It is important to speak at these events to share and learn, successes and knowledge with your community to better both. Every new employee at OmniByte comes with me to a 1MCFAR often in their first week(s) to experience it. The energy, the community, and maybe get a little insight into why taking a risk to join a startup is a great thing. Or in more ND terms, “not so bad”.”
